Vacances, Let's Go on vacation!

v
Our summer trip to France & Germany accompanied with my arrangement of 2 traditional Acadian Cajun tunes, "Mon Nouveau Beau" and "La Reine De La Salle"

Mon Nouveau Beau

I made a new boyfriend, Mama, ha ha
I made a new boyfriend,
Mais dis pas a Pop
But do not tell Pop
Parce que je le veux
Because I want him and
Je ne pourrais plus lui parler
I could not speak to him anymore

He has blue eyes, Mama, ha ha
But do not tell Pop
Parce que je le veux
Because I want him and
Je ne pourrais plus lui parler
I could not speak to him anymore

On a ete-z-au bal, maman, ha ha
We went to the ball, Mama, haha
On a ete-z-au bal, maman, ha ha
On a ete-z-au bal,
Mais dis pas a Pop
Parce que je le veux
Je ne pourrais plus lui parler

Il m'a donne un bague, maman, ha ha
He gave me a ring, Mama, ha ha
Il m'a donne un bague, maman, ha ha
Il m'a donne un bague,
Mais dis pas a Pop
Parce que je le veux
Je ne pourrais plus lui parler

Il m'avai plus, maman, ha ha
It pleased me, Mama, ha ha
Il m'avai plus, maman, ha ha
Il m'avai plus,
Mais dis pas a Pop
Parce que je le veux
Je ne pourrais plus lui parler

On va se marier, maman, ha ha
We are going to marry, Mama, ha ha
On va se marier, maman, ha ha
On va se marier,

I made a new boyfriend, Mama, ha ha
I made a new boyfriend,
Mais dis a Pop
But do tell Pop
Il m'avai plus, y on va se marier
It pleased me and we are going to marry!
